Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Stratega (“we”, “us”, the developer of Clink Arcade) handles information in connection with the Clink Arcade mobile app (the “App”). We built Clink Arcade to collect as little as possible: there are no accounts, and the game itself stores your data on your own device.

The short version. We don't ask you to sign up, and we don't run our own servers that store your data. Clink Arcade is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. To show those ads, Google may collect a device advertising identifier and related technical data. You can limit or reset this at any time on your device, and on iOS you'll be asked for permission first.

1. Information we collect

Data stored only on your device

The App saves the following locally on your phone, using on-device storage. It is not transmitted to us and we cannot see it:

Your high scores, game progress, daily-quest progress, and in-game coin balance.
Your settings (such as sound and haptics preferences) and your ad-consent choices.

Because this data lives on your device, deleting the App — or using the in-app “delete my data” option — removes it.

Data collected by our advertising partner (Google AdMob)

Clink Arcade displays ads using Google AdMob. To select, deliver, measure, and limit the frequency of ads, Google and its partners may collect or receive:

A mobile advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android; Identifier for Advertisers / IDFA on iOS, when you allow it).
Approximate, IP-derived location (e.g., country/region), device and operating-system information, and ad-interaction data.

This processing is performed by Google as described in Google's Privacy Policy and Google's AdMob/advertising documentation. We do not receive this identifier or use it to build a profile of you.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise GPS location, or microphone/camera input. The App has no login and no user accounts.

2. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework requires your permission before an app can use the IDFA for cross-app tracking. Clink Arcade will show you Apple's prompt. If you decline, you'll still see ads — they'll simply be non-personalized. You can change your choice anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

3. Consent for ads (EEA, UK & Switzerland)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent flow to ask for your choices about personalized advertising before ads are personalized. You can reopen these choices from the App's settings/privacy options. Where you do not consent to personalized ads, ads are served on a non-personalized basis.

4. How information is used

On-device data is used solely to run the game — to remember your scores, progress, coins, and preferences.
Advertising data is used by Google to show ads (personalized or non-personalized depending on your consent and platform settings), to measure ad performance, and to prevent fraud and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share on-device game data with third parties.

5. Your choices & controls

Reset or limit your advertising ID: Android — Settings → Privacy → Ads. iOS — Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking (and Apple's general ad settings).
Non-personalized ads: decline App Tracking Transparency (iOS) or personalized-ads consent (EEA/UK/CH).
Export your data: the App's settings include an option to export your local game data.
Delete your data: the App's settings include a “delete all data” option, and uninstalling the App erases everything stored on your device.

6. Data retention

On-device data persists until you delete it or uninstall the App. Advertising data collected by Google is retained according to Google's own retention policies, linked above.

7. Children's privacy

Clink Arcade is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or under the applicable age of digital consent in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at chris@stratega.io and we will address it.

8. Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Because the App stores game data locally and we maintain no user database, you can exercise most of these rights directly on your device (export/delete in-app, reset your advertising ID). California residents have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights; we do not sell personal information.

9. International users

Google may process advertising data on servers located outside your country, including the United States, under appropriate safeguards described in Google's Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above and post the new version at this URL. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
